Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what QRocket does — and doesn't — collect when you use the site.
The short version
QR codes are generated entirely in your browser. The content you type into the generator — links, contact details, Wi-Fi passwords, messages — is never sent to or stored on our servers. We can't see it, and we don't want to.
Information we don't collect
We do not require an account, and we do not collect the data you encode into your QR codes. Your saved styles and history are stored locally in your own browser (via local storage) and stay on your device.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web-analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site and the QR generator — for example page views, referring links, device type, approximate location at the country level, and aggregate actions such as downloading a QR code. We enable IP anonymization, and this data is used in aggregate to improve the product. It is not used to personally identify you, and we do not sell it.
Google Analytics may set cookies to measure repeat visits. Because Google processes this data, its use is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to disable analytics across all sites.
Cookies & your consent
If you're visiting from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a consent message asks for your permission before any analytics cookies are set. Consent is handled by Google's certified consent management platform (Privacy & messaging) using Google Consent Mode v2: all cookie storage starts out denied by default, and stays that way until you accept. Decline, and nothing gets set.
Strictly necessary local storage — used to remember your consent choice and to keep your saved QR styles and history on your own device — is always active because the site can't function without it.
Changed your mind? You can reopen the consent choices at any time to update or withdraw your consent — and clearing this site's cookies and local storage brings the consent message back on your next visit.
Your rights
Because we don't hold personal data about you, there's little for us to export or delete. For questions about this policy or any data concern, email privacy@qrocket.io.
Children's privacy
QRocket is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email privacy@qrocket.io and we'll delete it.
International visitors
QRocket's own servers don't store your data, but the analytics data described above is processed by Google, which may handle it on servers outside your country — including in the United States. That processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Trademarks
"QR Code" is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED in the United States and other countries. QRocket is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by DENSO WAVE.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. We'll revise the "last updated" date above whenever we do.
